Description:

HVIC materials are a One-component, Room Temperature vulcanizing curable liquid silicone rubber for prevent Flashover phenomena. The vulcanized rubber is noted for low viscosity and good hydrophobic properties as well as for the excellent dielectrically behavior.

Application

For much polluted HV insulators HVIC operating its recommended:

  1. Remove all accumulated contaminants at the insulator surface with abrasive clods
  2. Remove all remained dust with clearing by high pressure water washing by Carwash.
  3. Use dry cloth soaked Ethanol Alcohol to final clean surface of insulator from oil and … waitsbefore application to completely surface drying and then it can be applying in good weather.
  4. Spray on clean and dry surface by Airless devises and appurtenance, the coating thickness should be between 0.4 to 0.5 mm.
  5. Offered materials are ready to use and the tack free time would be about 30 minutes, and the completely cured time would be 24 hours after operation and after finishing work all equipment can be electrified.

Please clean the Tip -Gun – Gun hose and Airless machine with solvent recommended from factory when to halt applying for long time or more than 3days.

Packing

To 4-5 kilogram pails in one Carton boxcontain 6pcs pail or20 or 30 kilogram drumsat wooden pallets according toHVIC brand and manufacture standard.

Storage

The date of manufacture of each batch is shown on the product label.Silicone rubber can be storage in room temperature with dry and ventilated environment. Especially in warm climate, storage of the material in an air-conditioned warehouse with cool (below 25°C) and dry conditions is mandatory. The storage period is twelve month.

Storage beyond the date does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.

Advantages of RTV coating:

 

  • Our RTV coatings work on the principle of providing a hydrophobic surface limiting the leakage current to harmless levels in the presence of moisture and contamination.
    ●Excellent self-cleaning characteristics and long-term resistance to weathering and difficult environments
    ●Long-term hydrophobicity due to the migration of low molecular weight (LMW) siloxanes into the pollution layer
    ● Suppression of leakage current, discharges and pollution flashover
